Earlier this week, Mark McNairy previewed his first collection for Woolrich Woolen Mills.  Most of you have seen the images of his Military/Ivy Prep inspired clothing.  Aside from being a very strong collection of clothes, I really enjoyed the presentation of his line including why and how he got interested in designing clothes.  It was a very fresh way to display his influences for the season. I've been a big fan of winos/Zig Zags since I spotted them a couple years ago in LA.  Since then, many companies such as DVS, Huf, and Supreme have come out with their version of this eponymous shoe. Mark McNairy for Keds puts their spin on the wino for Fall 2011 and they look great.  He adds his trademark red brick sole to the traditional winos silhouette.  I only wish Keds would keep the prices more Keds-like.
