Win Win is the multimedia group of Alex “XXXchange” Epton (ex-Spankrock), DJ Chris Devlin (Devlin & Darko, Spankrock collaborator), and video artist/producer Ghostdad. Here is a video teaser for the first single "Releaserpm" featuring Lizzi Bougatsos from Gang Gang Dance. I'm loving the tropical feel along with Lizzi's ethereal vocals. God knows I'm a sucker for anything that Lizzi does. I can't wait to hear the rest of the album. Download the full song here.
Steven Blush, writer of American Hardcore, has compiled 24 hours of Hardcore for download. 911 free tracks from obscure and well known hardcore bands from all over the country. It's pretty impressive compilation and there are definitely a lot of bands I've never heard of. Know your history!
Only in NYC do people stand outside in the cold for fried chicken and pie. But dammit it's totally worth it. Fried chicken, mac n cheese, baked beans, hush puppies, and my favorite, banana cream pie. Pies N' Thighs is the truth. (pics via A Passion for Food)
Man About Town magazine just produced this great 50's fashion meets freestyle skateboarding video starring the "Spanish Rodney Mullen" Killian Martin. I love the look and styling of this video.
One of the best things about living in Boston in the late '90's was the New Balance outlet. I would scour the racks and find the best New Balance sneakers for super cheap. I always wanted the New Balance 1300's but could never find them in my size there. Luckily next fall, New Balance is releasing the 1300's in this super clean grey colorway. (via Highsnobiety)
Time to get rid of that nylon messenger bag from college. And I can't think of a better option than this R6 Breteles Bag from British company Six Eight Seven Six. It's made of red English waterproof canvas and aged natural leather straps. This is a modern take on a briefcase and is going to last you a lifetime and look better as the years go by.

I know it's been awhile. It's a New Year so I decided to give the blog a fresh look. Here's an awesome mix by How To Dress Well for DIS Magazine. This has been on repeat while I've been working on redesigning the blog. It's got Kate Bush, Xiu Xiu, Kanye, and The Police all chopped and screwed together.
